Becoming a True Superhero

Want to have superhero strength? The first step towards that goal is being driven. You have to have the motivation to start and keep on going. Second, you have to have the proper technique and structured training to become powerful and strong. You can do all of this and become a superhero with only bodyweight training! Let’s get started.

This workout will be very challenging and extremely difficult. It will test you both physically and mentally. Don’t let it stop you. What sets you apart from the rest is your driven attitude.


The Wolverine Workout

To begin, we need to be as powerful and explosive as we can. Make every rep count. Every time you feel like giving up, remind yourself of the end goal. Grind it out.

The first set includes:

  • 6-8 Clap Pull-Ups
  • 5 Broad Jumps
  • 7-9 Romanian Dips
  • 15 seconds High Knees
  • No rest between each exercise, complete for 3 sets with 3-5 minutes rest after each set.

Next we will work on stabilization. Make sure you are controlling your body throughout every movement. When you feel like you can’t do anymore, dig deep and hold on for 1 more second, 1 more rep. Keep pushing yourself.

The second set consists of:

  • 6-8 Flagpole Raises (each side)
  • 20-30 yard Duck Walk
  • 4-5 Type Writers (each side)
  • and 10 three second Pistol Squat Holds
  • No rest between each exercise, complete for 3 sets with 3-5 minutes rest after each set.

Now lets finish off this workout strong. Put the word driven into play. We will take those power exercises and combine them with the movements that require a lot of control.

The last set involves:

  • 6 Pull-Up to L-sit to Front Lever
  • 8 L-sit to Planche
  • No rest between each exercise. Complete for 3 sets with 3 minutes rest after each set.

This is where you dig deep and become a superhero. Finish strong, believe in yourself, keep grinding, and stay driven.
